Family
- There is nothing explicitly in the TUV manifesto that relates to marriage, online safety or gambling.
Life
Abortion
- The TUV believes that the right to life is paramount, but it is not the only fundamental right under attack in Northern Ireland
Religious Freedom
- The denial of religion, conscience and belief can come in many forms, even those dressed in liberal garb.
- The Asher’s Bakery was a classic illustration of an illiberal attempt to supress freedom of expression and conscience with the role of the Equality Commission in that case causes the TUV to believe it requires a fundamental overhaul.
- The TUV does not have to agree with what is said to defend the right to say it, provided it is otherwise lawful. Attacks on street preachers and attempts to ban protests in proximity to abortion clinic illustrate the need to be vigilant in ensuring freedom of expression is protected. TUV will exercise such vigilance.
- TUV believes that religious belief, teaching, and practice is a fundamental human right and will oppose any moves to dilute this.
Justice
- There is nothing explicitly in the TUV manifesto that relates to Sexual Exploitation or Human Trafficking.
